Why is my refund amount different than the amount I paid?Updated 2 months ago

We understand that seeing a different refund amount than what you initially paid can be confusing. Here are some reasons why your refund amount may differ:

  1. Return Processing Fee

    • Returns from Germany: A return processing fee of €3.95 is deducted from your refund.

    • Returns from other EU countries: A return processing fee of €8 is deducted from your refund.

    • These fees cover the costs associated with handling the return process and are automatically deducted from your refund.

  2. Discount Codes and Promotions If you used a discount code or promotional offer when placing your order, the total refund amount might reflect the discounted price you paid rather than the full price of the items. The amount refunded is based on the actual amount charged after discounts, not the original item price before the discount was applied.

  3. Gift Cards If your order was paid partially or fully with a gift card, the amount corresponding to the gift card portion will not be refunded in cash. Instead, the balance will be recharged back onto the original gift card. The refund amount credited to your account will only reflect the portion paid through other means, such as a credit card or PayPal.

  4. Partial Returns from a Bundle If you purchased a bundle or a set and decided to return only one item from that bundle, your refund will be adjusted accordingly. The refunded amount will represent the difference between the bundle price and the price you would have paid if you had originally purchased only the item you chose to keep. This ensures that the pricing remains fair and consistent with the original offer.

  5. Shipping Costs

    • Germany: Free shipping for orders over €29.90, otherwise €4.90.

    • EU: Free shipping for orders over €200, otherwise €6.90.

    • UK & Switzerland: Flat rate of €6.90.

    • Rest of the world€39.49.

    • Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our part.

  6. Taxes and Duties If your order was shipped internationally, the refund might not include taxes or duties that were paid at the time of import. These charges are typically non-refundable, as they are collected by your local customs authorities.
