I have received an invoice that I have already paid. What should I do?Updated 4 hours ago

Of course, you do not have to pay an invoice that has already been paid again. To make sure that your invoice has been paid and that your payment was successful, please proceed as follows:

1. First check whether your payment for your invoice has been confirmed.

Has your payment been received and confirmed?

If your invoice is displayed as ‘Paid’ in the Klarna app, you can ignore any payment reminders. Sometimes the booking of a payment and the sending of a payment reminder overlap.

2. Check whether the invoice amount has been debited from your bank account and the recipient is Klarna. Please note that it may take a few days for your transfer to be registered in our systems.

Did you pay the merchant directly?

If you paid the merchant directly, please contact them to request a refund. The Klarna invoice is still outstanding and must be paid on time. Please pay your invoice directly here or in the app to avoid further inconvenience or use only the purpose and payment information of the corresponding Klarna invoice for a bank transfer. You can find your invoice here or in the Klarna app at any time.

3. Check that the reason for payment and the payment information you entered match the information on your invoice. Please note that collective transfers for multiple invoices are therefore not possible.

Did you use the wrong payment information?

Our system cannot allocate a payment with the wrong purpose of payment to your invoice. In this case, your payment will be automatically refunded. Please check whether the payment has already been refunded to you. The Klarna invoice is still outstanding and must be paid on time.
